Composition: Breaking the Rules

In this program we will discuss the common “rules” of photographic composition, why they are considered important to the process of photography, and promptly discover all the reasons you should break them.
While a bit tongue in cheek, composition is a cornerstone element of how our photographic imagery is perceived. Join us as we shake out all that it has to offer!
About the Instructor:
Bud Thorpe is the owner of SOPHA, The Studio of Photographic Arts, an
rental studio and photographic community in Manchester, New Hampshire. SOPHA was founded in 2006 to support photographers of all levels by renting equipment, providing instruction, and offering the coolest space possible for its members to practice and display their art.
Bud is an accomplished self‐taught photographer and experienced
