For photographers as small business owners, there are many discussions around their business model.
In this talk, we will discuss IPS – the business model that stresses high-quality customer-centric communication that assures that the customer sees, and buys, the art that their heart desires. The while IPS does lead to higher sales, the key to IPS is understanding that higher sales is tied to higher customer satisfaction. Most photoraphers committing to the IPS business model see a ten fold increase in sales by customer.
About your instructor:
Bud Thorpe is the owner of SOPHA, The Studio of Photographic Arts, the northeast’s largest photographic rental studio and photographic community in Manchester, New Hampshire. SOPHA was founded in 2006 to support photographers of all levels by renting equipment, providing instruction, and offering the coolest space possible for its members to practice and display their art. Bud is an accomplished self-taught photographer and experienced instructor. He has a strong background in teaching most all aspects of photography, having taught thousands of students.
