Photography Projects: Why and How to Do Them
Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 10am to Noon
Studio B at SOPHA, Manchester, NH
Join us as we take on the subject of photo projects! Taking on a photo project focuses your work and motivates you to make progress every day. In this session we’ll talk about the hows and whys of doing projects, from selecting subject matter and setting goals and deadlines to promoting and exhibiting your work. This will be a very interactive session, so come prepared to talk about a project you’ve done, what went wrong and what went right; or a project you want to do and need help getting started; or any questions you have about projects.
Roger Goun is a recovering software engineer and street photographer. His eight month-long project photographing presidential candidates talking one-on-one with primary voters ended up on “New Hampshire Chronicle” and in a one-man gallery exhibition.
